Billing & Support

This guide covers managing your subscription, tracking production invoice usage, and contacting support when you need help.

Subscription overview

Your subscription controls how many production invoices you can submit each month and which features are available to your organization. To view your subscription details:

  1. Open the Subscription page from the sidebar navigation in the TaxConnect app.
  2. The page displays your current plan name, subscription status (active, expired, or inactive), and the next renewal date.
  3. You will see the number of production invoices used this billing period and how many remain. Sandbox submissions do not count toward your limit and are not shown here.

Note: If your subscription status shows as expired or inactive, production submissions are blocked until you reactivate billing or upgrade. Sandbox testing remains available regardless of subscription status.

Subscription actions

The Subscription page provides three key actions that let you manage your plan without leaving the app:

  • Reactivate Billing — use this if your subscription has expired or is currently inactive. Clicking this button takes you through the reactivation flow so you can resume production submissions.
  • Upgrade Plan — if you are approaching your monthly invoice limit, upgrade to a higher-tier plan for more capacity. The upgrade takes effect immediately and the difference in price is prorated for the remainder of your billing period.
  • Cancel Subscription — opens the Polar customer portal where you can manage your payment methods, view invoices, and cancel your recurring subscription. Cancellation stops automatic renewal but does not refund the current period.

Plans

TaxConnect offers tiered plans designed for businesses of all sizes. Each plan corresponds to a monthly production invoice limit:

  • Starter — up to 100 invoices per month. Ideal for small businesses testing FBR compliance or processing a low volume of transactions.
  • Growth — 101 to 500 invoices per month. Suited for growing businesses with moderate transaction volumes.
  • Scale — 501 to 2,000 invoices per month. Designed for larger operations with high invoice throughput.
  • Custom pricing — available for organizations that need more than 2,000 invoices per month. Contact sales@countonus.services to discuss your requirements.

Good to know: Production invoices consume credits from your monthly allowance. Sandbox submissions are free and do not count against your plan limit. Use the sandbox environment for testing, validation, and training without worrying about credit consumption.

Production invoice usage

The Subscription page includes a usage progress bar that shows how many of your monthly production invoices have been consumed. Here is how to interpret it:

  • The progress bar fills as you submit invoices to the FBR production environment. The percentage reflects your usage relative to the plan limit.
  • The label below the bar explains when your credits reset — typically on your monthly renewal date.
  • If you exceed your limit, production submissions are blocked until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade to a higher-tier plan. Any invoices that were queued before the limit was reached will still be processed.

Production usage resets at the start of each billing period. Unused credits from one month do not carry over to the next.

When contacting support, please include the following information so we can help you faster:

  • Your organization name as shown in the TaxConnect app.
  • The environment you are working in — sandbox or production.
  • Any error messages you are seeing, including the full text if possible.
  • Invoice numbers if the issue is specific to one or more invoices.

Note: There is currently no in-app messenger. For the fastest response, use email or WhatsApp directly. We aim to respond to all inquiries within one business day.
